But the singer delighted her fans during the 2017 American Music Awards by making a surprise appearance through a video tribute to the women who dominate the American Music Awards. Yes it’s none other than the leagend singer Diana Ross awarded by Life Time Achievement Award. Diana Ross is 73 years old and was honored by Barack and Michelle Obama who sent a video message to the icon.

She said, ‘Hey Diana, it’s Taylor. I just wanted to say congratulations on your lifetime achievement award.

‘I don’t know personally anyone in music who hasn’t been inspired by you,’ she said. ‘You’re elegant, fierce, strong, and brave, and you have paved the way for everyone who does what we do now. Including me. So, thank you.’
