For example, if you can recognize you are in “fight/flight” mode (e.g. anxiety, restlessness, inability to relax or settle) you can work to intentionally shift your state by working to soothe the nervous system and activate the parasympathetic (ventral vagal) with the skills above. 😮💨
Knowing these skills take practice. Awareness is key. And finding what works for YOU is critical!
